Lamb koftas

  • 500g Lamb Mince 
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped 
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed 
  • ⅓ cup Mint, roughly chopped 
  • ⅓ cup Italian Parsley, roughly chopped 
  • 2 tbsp Pine Nuts 
  • 1 tsp cumin 
  • ¼ tsp cardamom  
  •  ½ tsp allspice 
  • ½ tsp salt 
  • ¼ tsp pepper 
  • 1 tbsp Avocado Oil and Garlic 
To serve
Method   
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper and set aside. 
  2. Place all kofta ingredients into a large bowl. Mix until well combined. 
  3. Roll onto 6cm long ovals much like a rugby ball. Place onto the prepared baking tray. 
  4. Cook in the oven for  15–20 minutes or until golden brown. 
  5. Serve koftas over hummus, with salad on the side. Sprinkle Italian parsley leaves on top. Drizzle oil. Season with salt, pepper and dukkah.
